
As a mark of appreciation to the hosting community, the Amir led a powerful delegation to the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland and Chairman of Ogun State Council of Oba, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle at his palace in Ilaro.
Other members of the delegation included Engr. Umar Ahmad, Alhaji Mufadhil Bankole, the General Secretary, Alhaji Abbas Iromini and Chief Imam of Ilaro Central Mosque, Alhaji Mustapha Adewunmi.
The Amir expressed gratitude to His Royal Majesty for his support to all AMJN initiatives in Ilaro, particularly the recently concluded Annual Jalsa Salana 2024 at Ilaro and the ground breaking ceremony of Masroor International Technical College. The delegation also highlighted the significance of the College’s first Matriculation Ceremony, which coincided with their visit.
Oba Olugbenle expressed his appreciation to the Ahmadiyya Community for the visit and its commitment to fostering development in Ilaro. He equally acknowledged the importance of MITC and encouraged the founders to promote the institution among the youths in Yewaland.
The first-class traditional ruler complimented the visit with a tour of the college facilities and donated old computer systems to embrace training resources. He reiterated the importance of providing alternatives for students who may not excel academically, emphasizing the role of vocational training in shaping future leaders.
