Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria sited its first Mosque in Ayetoro in a town called
Saala several decades ago. The Mosque was recently reconstructed by the family of the

Dr. Salako hinted that the project was implemented in honour of his late parents whose
legacies linger on, adding that: “our parents are such a kind hearted disciplined, generous
and highly truthful in all respect.”
He added that the Chief Imam of Ayetoro Township, Imam Ibrahim Ajakore was very
instrumental to the reconstruction of the Mosque as he kept reminding the Minister on the
need to rebuild the first ever Ahmadiyya Mosque in Ayetoro.

of his late parents and heeding to proper guidance from the Chief Imam.

Alhaji Alatoye also inaugurated a new Mosque in Adeniji Kaaki village, a suburb area in
Ayetoro Town. The Mosque was single-handedly built by Alhaja (Chief) Anifat Yemisi
Abass, Iyaloja General of Ogun State.
The Mosque which was strategically located along the road can conveniently
accommodated over 300 worshippers at a time.
The Amir prayed for the donor and described the gesture as “Sadaqatul Jaria” which the
donor will continue to enjoy its rewards and blessings even after her demise.
Mission House in Idagba
Next to be commissioned was a two-bedroom apartment newly constructed for the Missionary covering Idagba area in Ayetoro Town and its environs.
Inauguration Ayetoro Central Mission House and Meeting with members
The Amir later visited Ayetoro Central Mosque where he commissioned a newly built four-
bedroom apartment Mission House and also addressed hundreds of Jama’at members.
In his address, the Amir commended the strong dedication and sacrifices of the local
members leading to the realization of numerous projects within the branch and implored
them not to relent in their good deeds and efforts.

Jama’at members in Ayetoro Town and hailed the King for ensuring hitch-free Jama’at
activities within his domain.
“We are here to extend our gratitude to Almighty God and the King for accommodating
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at peacefully without any hatred or rancour. We have had the
privilege of building our Mosques and hold our activities across the Town without any
disruption or hindrance. We appreciate the King for this,” the National Head stated.
Alhaji Alatoye used the medium to discuss on the basic tenets and five pillars of Islam
which are direct opposite to social vices, “Islam is a religion of peace and is not traced to
any form of terrorism, banditry or kidnapping. There is none among the five pillars that
contradicts the true teachings of Islam. Those who engage in acts of terrorism are doing
so for personal selfish gains. Youths should never join forces with banditry and
kidnapping activities.”
The Amir further appealed to the traditional ruler to always address the issue of social
vices and insecurity with government functionaries when they visit him.
Among the entourage of the Amir are: the Naib Amir (Deputy National Head) Finance and
Administration, Alhaji Mufadhil Bankole; the General Secretary Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at
of Nigeria, Alhaji Ayelagbe Jabar Adekunle and Assistant, General Secretaries Nurudeen
