The event, themed “Ramadan: An Anchor of Piety in Chaotic Times,” brought together students from 10 higher institutions in the state under the leadership of Idowu, Abdurrazzaq. The lecture, held in an open field to accommodate a larger audience, was chaired by Mr Abdul Roqeeb Akinyemi, the Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Nigeria. Muallim Muhammad Awwal Afolayan, representing Muallim Muhammad Waai’z Apooyin, delivered a captivating lecture on the theme. He stressed that Ramadan serves as a reminder to surrender oneself entirely to Allah and recommended a thorough study of the Qur’an as a means to earn God’s pleasure. He concluded by highlighting the significance of prayer as the key to success. Toward the end of the event, several guests delivered inspiring remarks.
