Amir AMJN Encourages Calabar Members to Deepen Dedication and Seek Allah’s Blessings Through Sacrifice

The Amir (National Head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, held a special meeting with officials of the Calabar Circuits on Thursday, 16th October, 2025 as part of his official visit to the State to appreciate their dedication, and inspiring greater commitment to the cause of Islam through the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. In his address, the Respected Amir sahib commended members of the Calabar Circuits for their steadfastness, discipline, and continuous support for the Jama’at’s progress. He reminded them that every challenge faced by believers should serve as a means of strengthening their faith rather than weakening it. Citing the divine assurance, he said: “Inna ḥizb Allāhi humul ghālibūn” — Indeed, the party of Allah shall be victorious. Alhaj Alatoye reiterated that Ahmadiyya represents the renaissance of the true Islamic faith, a movement divinely raised to revive spirituality, restore moral values, and guide Muslims and humanity back to the path of Allah. He explained that while the world continues to await the coming of the Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him), the prophecy has already been fulfilled, and the reformation he initiated continues to flourish through the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Earlier, the Calabar Circuit President, Engr. Musa Kazeem, expressed deep appreciation to the respected Amir and his entourage for their continued support in Tabligh (propagation), education, and welfare activities. He highlighted that the circuit have benefited immensely from the humanitarian efforts of Humanity First, the Jama’at’s global charity arm. He reported that the circuit achieved over 100% participation in contributions toward Minaret University and made notable progress in Tahrik-e-Jadid. He also thanked the Amir for his efforts in facilitating the construction of the Ikom Mosque, describing it as a historic and spiritually uplifting project for the Circuit. Delivering his remarks, Naib Amir (Taleem and Tarbiyyat), Alhaji Abdullateef Folorunso, encouraged members to remain steadfast in prayers, deepen their love for one another, and uphold the Jama’at’s core values of mutual respect, humility, and peaceful coexistence. He emphasized the importance of improving personal tarbiyyat (moral training) and working collectively to bring more souls into the fold of Islam. In his admonition, the Missionary-in-Charge, Maulvi Adnan Tahir, urged members to maintain unity and seek guidance through the proper administrative channels. He advised them to consult their Circuit President and the Central Missionary whenever issues arise and to maintain consistent communication with the headquarters and Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (may Allah be his Helper). Also speaking, Maulvi Abdul Hafeez Akere expressed gratitude to the Amir and his team for the visit. He acknowledged the Amir as the first contributor toward the Ikom Mosque project, an act that inspired many others to donate generously toward its completion. In his closing remarks, the Amir expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the success of the visit. He encouraged the Circuit leadership to maintain early communication with the National Headquarters on matters beyond their capacity not forgetting to always have constant communications to Huzur Aqdas (atba ) to have sure links with the Khalifat. He further appreciated Umar Muzaffar Qayyum for his generous donation toward the Ikom Mosque project on behalf of his grandparents, praying for abundant blessings upon his family. The meeting concluded with prayers for continued unity, peace, and progress of the Jama’at in Calabar, and across Nigeria. Building Bridges of Unity — Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria’s Visit to the Obong of Calabar

Obong Declares Calabar as Home to Ahmadiyya The Amir (National Head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alhaji (Barrister) Alatoye Folorunso Azeez on Thursday 16th October, 2025 paid a courtesy call on the Obong of Calabar, His Eminence Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V at his Palace in Calabar, Cross River State. In his remarks, the Amir said he is in Calabar to express the Jamaat profound appreciation to the King for his love for the Jamaat and commended the Obong for his exemplary leadership, describing him as a revered traditional ruler who continues to lead with the fear of God, commitment to service, and promotion of peaceful coexistence among adherents of different faiths. He expressed profound gratitude for the consistent support the Obong and the Palace has extended to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for many decades in Calabar and beyond. Alhaji Alatoye emphasized that Islam stands for peace, compassion, and justice, adding that any form of extremism or violence does not represent the true teachings of Islam. He further highlighted the global efforts of the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (May Allah be his Helper), who continues to engage world leaders in advocating peace and promoting understanding among nations. Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria Visits Igala and Lokoja Circuits, Extends Welfare Courtesy to Dr. Bala and Mrs. Yahya

The Amir (National Head) of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria on Saturday, 11th and Sunday, 12th October, 2025, paid a spiritually uplifting and welfare-oriented visit to Igala and Lokoja Circuits, Kogi State. At both circuits, members warmly received Amir Sahib and expressed deep appreciation for his visit, describing it as a source of encouragement and spiritual rejuvenation. Members of each Circuit led by their Circuit Presidents and Central/Circuit Missionaries used the opportunity to share some of the progress reports of the Jamaat while not forgetting challenges facing their branches and sought the guidance, continued support and prayers of the respected Amir Sahib. Respected Amir Sahib appreciated the Circuits for the warm receptions, he reiterated directives and guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) to the Nigerian Jamaat which are Strengthening Tabligh (propagation) activities across all regions; Renewed commitment to Wasiyyat and ensuring every eligible member participates actively, Working towards the financial independence of the Jamaat; Upholding strict adherence to Nizam-e-Jamaat, and work harmoniously for the successful establishment and growth of Minaret University. He urged members to continue to pray fervently for Allah’s blessings, that all undertakings of the Jamaat and its members become resourceful and impactful. He encouraged members to remain grateful, united, and devoid of bitterness, both in words and actions. He enjoined the Circuits to maintain effective communication of their needs to the national headquarters for productive responses. Amir Sahib further reminded them that Huzur (aba) has approved the establishment of the Ahmadiyya Business Association of Nigeria and that he has challenged the association to seize emerging opportunities within government and the wider economy, and to make meaningful contributions to the development of the Jamaat and the nation at large. In line with Huzur’s guidance, he reminded members that the Jamaat must strive to make a positive impact in governance, and thus encouraged members with the capacity and passion to engage in politics and public service, with the intention of promoting justice, integrity, and the values of Islam. As part of his visit, Respected Amir Sahib extended welfare and condolence courtesies to two respected members of the Jamaat. He paid a get-well visit to Dr. Bala of Ogbagede, who is currently recovering from illness, and also visited Mrs. Yahya, widow of Late Bro. Ismail Yahya, former Commissioner for Special Duties, Kogi State who died recently to offer prayers and condolences. He prayed that Allah would grant them strength, comfort, and ease in their circumstances. Among the entourage of the respected Amir are the National General Secretary Alh. Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria Visits Ankpa Kingdom as Ejeh Declares: ‘Ankpa is Home to Ahmadiyya

The Amir (National Head) of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria Respected Alhaj (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, on Saturday 11th October 2025, paid an appreciation visit to His Royal Highness, the Ejeh of Ankpa, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sadiq Yakub II at his palace, Ankpa, Kogi State. The Amir sahib noted that the purpose of the visit was to express sincere appreciation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to His Royal Highness. Ejeh of Ankpa, the Chairman of Ankpa Traditional Council and Vice Chairman Igala Traditional Council for sustainability of the decades old love and mutual relationship between the Jamaat and his kingdom and to particularly thank His Highness for participation at the Jalsa Salana (National Conference) of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of different countries, i.e 2025 United Kingdom Jalsa, 2025 Republic of Ghana Jalsa and 2024 Jalsa Salana of Nigeria . While thanking His Highness for his exemplary leadership and commitment to peaceful co-existence, the Amir used the opportunity to reiterate his usual appeal for mutual love, understanding, and unity of faith among Muslim faithful and not unnecessary attacks on each other on social media and other platforms. He enjoined Muslim Ummah to emulate the lifestyles of the Holy Prophet whose leadership prowess tempted his companions to stand up against the enemies of Islam. Alhaji Alatoye noted that some people had wrong notions that Ahmadis had a separate Holy Quran apart from the one revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Saw) and do not exalt the Holy Prophet. He informed the palace that those were false accusations as Ahmadis do not have a separate Quran and that Ahmadis believed the Holy Prophet as the seal of all prophets and best of mankind. He explained that the coming of the Promised Messiah (AS) should not cause any enmity or hatred among us because all Muslims without exception is expecting the advent of the Promised Messiah in line with the prophecy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) The Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet are the only tools of guidance and direction for Ahmadis upon which explanations are based. Ahmadis globally are known for preaching the oneness of Allah, unity of Islam, and peaceful co-existence. Responding, His Royal Highness, the Ejeh of Ankpa appreciated the Amir for the visit and said he is always pleased to be and identify with true islam wherever it’s being preached or practised. He declared that “Ankpa is home to Ahmadiyya” and that before ascending the throne as Ejeh, he had on different occasions joined his predecessor who happens to be his father to attend UK Jalsa Salana. He promised to also be at forthcoming Nigeria Jamaat Jalsa by December 20th 2025 inshaAllah. Among the entourage of the respected Amir are the National General Secretary Alh. Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria Visits Masroor International Technical College (MITC), Reviews Progress with Management

The Respected Amir Sahib (RAS), Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria, Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, today paid a working visit to the Masroor International Technical College (MITC), Ilaro, Ogun State, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain and further improve the standards and quality of the institution. During the visit, the RAS inspected the hostel facilities to assess the condition and overall well-being of the students. He thereafter held a progress review meeting with the school’s management team. In his remarks, the RAS urged the team to remain diligent in their respective roles, noting that their dedication is crucial to the continued growth and success of the institution. He emphasized that the focus must remain on the quality of students with practical impact where students upon graduation will be job creators and not job seekers. He further advised that individual student assessments be regularly conducted to monitor performance and ensure academic and vocational excellence. The RAS also called on the IAAAE team to be swift in addressing all matters of concern relating to the institution, particularly in areas that directly affect students’ learning outcomes and welfare. In his response, Engr. Abdul Waheed Adeoye, Chairman of the Board of Management, expressed appreciation to the Respected Amir Sahib for his consistent support and concern for the institution. He reported that they are working around the clock to ensure total quality in the school, citing that teachers from MITC were recently required to undertake the Compulsory Quality Assurance Assessment (QAA) Test, which they successfully passed to the glory of Allah. He added that the management is equally working towards enhancing students’ productivity to ensure they graduate with the necessary skills to remain relevant and productive in society. The Respected Amir Sahib reiterated the importance of quality assurance and assured the management that other outstanding matters raised during the meeting will be duly considered at the earliest. Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria Attends Graduation Ceremony of Madrasatut Tahfidhil Qur’an (Jamia Ahmadiyya)

The Respected Amir Sahib (RAS), Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, today graced the graduation ceremony of 28 new Huffaaz (memorizers of the Holy Qur’an) at the Madrasatut Tahfidhil Qur’an, Jamia Ahmadiyya, Ilaro, Ogun State. The ceremony, which marked another milestone in the Jama’at’s Qur’anic educational mission, was chaired by the RAS and witnessed the joyous celebration of young members who have successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an. In his address, the Respected Amir Sahib emphasized that the completion of Qur’an memorization is a great blessing from Allah and a clear testament to the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (as) as a true servant and follower of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw). He further announced that alongside the 28 male graduates, 16 young female memorizers also graduated, bringing the total number of graduants to 44 today. In total, the Male Hafiz class has graduated 396 candidates from inception. Expanding on this, the Amir Sahib noted that the Jama’at now operates 10 Qur’an memorization centers across Nigeria, from which over 600 Huffaaz have so far graduated. The Amir emphasized that the Jama’at will continue to uphold the sunna of Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) especially memorisation of the Holy Quran among others. Advising the graduands, the RAS stressed the importance of constant revision to ensure proper retention of what they have memorized. He further encouraged them to go beyond memorization by striving to learn the meaning and application of the Holy Qur’an in their daily lives. Addressing the parents, he urged them to provide continuous guidance and support to their children, helping them preserve their memorization and keeping them away from social vices. In his closing admonition to the graduands, the Respected Amir Sahib advised them to remain prayerful, avoid arrogance, greed, and ego, and to embody humility and righteousness. He prayed that Allah (SWT) grants them a pious lifestyle and the strength to be true ambassadors of the Holy Qur’an. Among the guests at the occasion are Former Amir, Professor Mashood Adenrele Fashola, the Acting Missionary Incharge, Maulvi Syed Ather Mahmood, the General Secretary, Com. Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria Pays Courtesy Visit to Lagos Governor’s Advisory Council Chairman, Prince Dr. Tajudeen Olusi

The Amir (National Head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria, Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso AbdulAzeez, today paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Prince (Dr.) Tajudeen Olusi, MON, OON at his Lagos residence. The visit formed part of the Jama’at’s continued efforts in propagating the peaceful teachings of Islam and fostering strong community relations. In his remarks, the Respected Amir Sahib expressed gratitude for the warm reception by Prince (Dr.) Olusi. He emphasized that Islam, as consistently preached by the Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide, is a religion of peace, tolerance, and social justice. He reiterated that the Jama’at strongly rejects violence against persons or government, referencing the numerous addresses of Worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to Parliaments and world leaders across the globe. The Amir Sahib also used the occasion to extend a formal invitation to Prince Dr. Olusi to attend the 2025 Jalsa Salana Nigeria, scheduled to hold from 19th – 21st December 2025. In his response, Prince Dr. Tajudeen Olusi described himself as someone with a long acquittances with the Jama’at. He fondly recalled how in the early 1930s, Maulvi Ahmad, a former Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at and then a teacher at Ansarudeen College, Isolo profoundly shaped his understanding of Islamic principles, which have since guided his life. Prince Dr. Olusi expressed appreciation for the Jama’at’s literature presented to him during the visit and, in reciprocity, gifted the Jama’at copies of the Holy Qur’an and some of his authored books.
